Editing is the seamless and uninterrupted transfer of the viewer’s attention from one shot to the next.
If your edit reflects that definition, it is working.
But how do we make the edit in the first place?

Editing is the process of answering 2 questions: what shot to put after the previous one and how to transition from one to the other.
That’s it! Simple right?
If you focus on these two simple definitions you will transform your editing process.
